With over 18 years of sobriety and a powerful testimony of transformation, Pastor Mike Bonomo brings a rare blend of personal experience, pastoral care, and professional training to the world of Christ-centered recovery. Once caught in the grip of addiction, Mike was radically changed by the grace of God—and he’s been helping others find true healing and purpose ever since.
A Licensed Clinical Chaplain and ordained pastor, Mike holds credentials in both clinical and biblical counseling, along with certifications in trauma-informed care, clinical supervision, codependency recovery, and addiction studies (including a Masters Level Addiction Specialist designation). He has written therapeutic group curriculums and designed full outpatient treatment programs, and he regularly mentors pastors and counselors looking to launch recovery ministries of their own.
Pastor Mike has served in nearly every setting—from residential and outpatient treatment to crisis response, inner-city outreach, and spiritual care in clinical environments. He’s worked alongside psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and treatment teams, helping individuals and families walk through addiction, mental health challenges, grief, and life transitions.

Pastor Mike’s approach blends practical recovery tools and evidence-based practices with the truth of God’s Word. What sets Mike apart isn’t just his expertise—it’s his Christ-centered, Spirit-led approach. His structured counseling and recovery coaching isn’t traditional therapy, but it is deeply rooted in both professional skill and pastoral wisdom. He creates safe spaces where people can process pain, encounter truth, and move forward—one step at a time.
His group topics include relapse prevention, emotional health, spiritual formation, grief and trauma, and men’s recovery. Whether facilitating a group, leading a family through crisis, or offering one-on-one support, Pastor Mike brings clarity, compassion, and unwavering hope.
Most importantly, Mike is a husband, father, and proud grandfather of seven. As founder of Hope Recovery Services, he remains committed to walking with others on the journey to restoration—offering wisdom, support, and the hope that only Christ can give.
